Attorney Lawton was the moderator and a speaker in a continuing legal education seminar sponsored by the South Carolina Bar. The program was intended to help mediators improve their skills and assist clients in resolving conflicts pertaining to cases of personal injury, construction accidents, workers’ compensation claims, medical malpractice, and more.
Charleston School of Law Moot Court Competition
On March 2, 2018, Attorney Lawton served as a judge in the Charleston School of Law Moot Court Competition. Twenty six (26) teams from schools in the southeast participated in the competition.
