Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.

MILLION DOLLAR & MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR ADVOCATES

Mr. Lawton is certified as a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

SUMMARY COURT JUDGE

Mr. Lawton has also acted as a judge in summary jury trials in the Court of Common Pleas. In a summary jury trial, the attorneys agree to certain evidentiary matters in an effort to streamline the trial process, and they select another attorney to act as the judge in the proceeding. The case is then submitted to a jury for their decision.
