Whitmire v. Unum Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company
This matter involved a disability insurance bad faith claim. Suit was filed in Federal District Court in Charleston and eventually tried before the Honorable C. Weston Houck. After the first phase of the trifurcated trial, the case was resolved for $1,500,000.00.
