Mercer v. Servicemaster
This case involved a fall at a hospital. The client had multiple surgeries after the accident. A lawsuit was filed against Servicemaster, which is a nationwide corporation which provides janitorial services to hospitals and other executive offices. Servicemaster’s national counsel defended the case. The matter was settled at mediation for $390,000.00.
Charpia v. Corporate Cleaning Services
This premises liability case involved the improper use of chemicals and signage, resulting in injuries that required surgery. The lawsuit was filed in Charleston County Court of Common Pleas, and settled for $330,000.00.
Nye v. Janitor's Company
Premises liability case involving back surgery. The case was arbitrated, resulting in a verdict of $350,000.00.
